Verification FAQ

Nearly every problem is an ad blocker, a VPN, or a private DNS.

Why do I have to verify?

We confirm you're a real person on a single account, which keeps bots, scammers and ban-evading alts out of the community. No password, no personal info, it takes a few seconds.

I tipped $10 or more in the Astro MM bot

Then you don't need to verify at all - you're trusted automatically and get the Verified role in both servers. If you don't have it yet, rejoin the server (or open a ticket) and it'll be applied.

"This site can't be reached" / DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

Your DNS is blocking the domain (common on secure/private DNS or brand-new domains).

Fix: switch your DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1, turn off "Secure DNS" / any private-DNS app, or just use mobile data - then reopen the link.

"Couldn't load the check" (ad or content blocker)

An ad/content blocker (uBlock, Brave Shields, AdGuard) is blocking the check.

Fix: turn the blocker OFF for this site and reload. Step-by-step for your browser is on the "How to fix this" page linked from the error screen.

"Turn off your VPN"

We block VPNs/proxies so scammers can't hide. You're already signed in, so just turn your VPN OFF and tap Verify again. No need to log in twice.

In a country that blocks Discord (Turkey, Russia, etc.)? Keep the VPN on only for the Discord login step, then turn it off for the verify step. This site works without a VPN.

iPhone says "Turn off your VPN" but I don't use one

iOS hides your IP by default, which looks like a proxy. Turning it off for a minute fixes it.

Wi-Fi: Settings > Wi-Fi > tap the (i) next to your network > turn OFF "Limit IP Address Tracking", then tap Try again.

Cellular data: Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > turn OFF "Limit IP Address Tracking".

Also on (iCloud+): Settings > tap your name > iCloud > Private Relay > turn OFF. You can turn all of these back on after you're verified.

It opened inside Discord/Instagram/etc.

App built-in browsers can't run the check. Tap the ... or share icon and choose "Open in browser" (Chrome or Safari), then verify there.

Discord says "You need to verify your account to perform this action"

That message is from Discord, not us. Your Discord account itself needs a confirmed email (and sometimes a phone).

Fix: Discord → Settings → My Account → confirm your email, then reopen the verify link. If it asks for a phone, add one. New/flagged accounts hit this most.

"Turn off incognito / private browsing"

Private/incognito mode is blocked because it hides device signals. Open the link in a normal window and try again.

"Could not confirm your device"

Your browser's privacy settings are too hardened to identify a stable device. Use a normal browser (no incognito, no anti-fingerprint/anti-detect mode) and try again.

"Not verified" / "Your account can't be verified"

This means a VPN/proxy was detected, or your account is linked to a flagged one, or repeated tampering was seen. Turn off any VPN and use a normal browser. If you believe it's a mistake, open a ticket and staff will help.

Still stuck?

Try a different browser or device (your phone on mobile data works well), or open a ticket in the server and staff will verify you manually.
