Terms & Privacy

Version 1.2 · Effective October 18, 2026 · Operated by Astro MM

By opening a ticket, requesting a quote, or sending funds to any address the Service gives you, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Part I · Terms of Service

1Who we are

Astro MM ("we", "us", the "Service") is a Discord bot and website operated by the Astro MM team. Contact details are in §41.

We are not a bank, a licensed money transmitter, a broker, an exchange, or a financial adviser. We do not give investment advice. We provide a peer-to-peer escrow, swap and trading tool.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Roblox Corporation, Discord Inc., or any blockchain network or swap provider referenced here.

2Eligibility

  • You must meet Discord's minimum age for your country, and in any case be at least 18.
  • You must have legal capacity to enter a contract where you live.
  • You must not be in, or acting for anyone in, a comprehensively sanctioned country, and must not appear on any applicable sanctions list.
  • You are responsible for checking that using a crypto escrow service is lawful where you are. We do not check this for you.
  • One account per person. Alternate accounts used to evade a ban, a limit or a reputation record are prohibited.

3What the Service is

We provide several distinct things. They carry different risks and fees.

Escrow deals

You and a counterparty agree a trade. The sender deposits crypto to an address we generate. When the sender releases it, we send it to the receiver, or we return it under §17. We hold the funds for the duration.

Crypto swaps

You send one coin, a third-party routing provider converts it and sends another coin to an address you nominate. The provider holds the funds, never us.

3AOperating inside Discord

The Service runs inside Discord. That has consequences worth understanding before you deposit anything.

  • Discord's own terms and community guidelines apply to you on top of these terms. Where they are stricter, they win. Breaching them also breaches these terms.
  • Our server rules apply on top of this document.
  • You must meet Discord's minimum age for your country (§2).
  • Everything you send in a ticket passes through Discord and is processed and stored by Discord under their privacy policy, not only ours. Do not put anything in a ticket you would not want Discord to hold.
  • Discord may suspend or terminate your account, our bot, or our server at any time, for their own reasons, with no notice to us. They may also change their API or policies in ways that force us to remove features.
  • We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord Inc.

If Discord removes us

If our bot or server is removed by Discord, your funds and balances stay yours. Keep what you need to prove a deal:

  • Keep a copy of your ticket ID and any transaction hash.

An outage or removal on Discord's side is not a release, a forfeiture, or a cancellation of anything held for you.

Direct messages

Every genuine DM from the bot has a Verify Astro button that shows your anti-fake phrase to you alone (§21). A genuine DM never asks you to send funds, to reply or deal in DMs, or to share your PIN or phrase. No member of staff will ever DM you first.

4Custody

We hold your funds

During an escrow deal we control the private keys. Your funds are in our custody, not yours, and not in a trustless smart contract. You are trusting us and our operational security.

If our infrastructure is compromised, if our keys are lost, or if we cease operating, you could lose everything held with us. Do not deposit more than you are willing to lose to that scenario. Do not use the Service as storage. Complete or cancel your deal and take custody yourself.

Crypto swaps are different. The deposit address belongs to the third-party provider and the funds are in their custody from the moment you send. We cannot move, freeze or refund a swap deposit because we never hold it.

5Escrow deals

How it works:

  • Both parties confirm who they are and what the trade is.
  • The sender deposits the agreed amount to a generated address.
  • We wait for the confirmation depth in §12 and for a settlement window to pass.
  • When the sender presses Release and the receiver confirms a payout address, the funds are sent to that address after a short hold (§19), less the fees in §10.

We are not a judge of your trade. We hold funds and release them on instruction. We do not verify that goods, accounts or items you receive are genuine, legitimately owned, or as described. Confirming release is your decision and it is final.

A payout address, once you confirm it, is used exactly as given. Check that it accepts that coin on that network: we only check an address's format. If it is on the wrong network, or belongs to an exchange or app that does not support the coin or freezes it, that is between you and them.

Only the deposit address in your own ticket is covered. Each deposit address belongs to one deal. Money sent to an address after its ticket has closed or expired, or to an address from another deal, is not covered by the Service and may never be recovered (§15). Neither is anything you send or agree outside the ticket, including in DMs.

6Crypto swaps

Swaps are executed by a third-party routing provider. We build the quote and show you the terms. The provider performs the conversion and the payout.

  • Quotes expire. The rate and the deposit deadline are shown on the card. A deposit that arrives after the deadline is not swapped.
  • The output is an estimate. Market movement and slippage between quote and execution change what you actually receive.
  • Exactly one asset, on exactly one network, to exactly one address. Anything else falls under §15.
  • Overpayments above the quoted input are normally returned by the provider to your refund address, less their refund fee. This is normal and does not mean the swap failed.
  • "Pending deposit" from the provider means they have not seen your deposit. It does not mean nothing was sent.
  • We do not control the provider's rates, timing, refund decisions or availability, and we cannot compel them to act.
Swap mistakes cannot be undone by us

A swap deposit address belongs to the provider, not to us. If you send the wrong coin, use the wrong network, send to the wrong address, send less than the minimum or after the deadline, or give a wrong refund address, we cannot recover the funds and the loss is not our responsibility. Any refund is made by the provider, under its own rules and minus its fees, to the refund address you gave. Our messages describe what normally happens; they are not a promise.

The provider may delay, freeze, hold for compliance checks, refuse, lose or mishandle a swap or its refund, or be hacked. That loss is not ours and we cannot reverse it. Any claim is against the provider.

A swap ticket with no deposit and no activity is closed automatically (§19). Closing the ticket does not cancel a swap the provider has already seen.

7AWho pays the fees on a trade

Our fees come out of the payout, so the receiver gets the deal amount less the fees in §10. A refund pays its own fees. If the receiver needs a round amount, agree in the ticket, before the deal proceeds, a deal amount that covers the fees.

7BTraders imposing their own terms

You may impose your own conditions, but they must be posted in the ticket, in your own message, before the deal proceeds; the other trader must explicitly agree; if they did not see or agree, they do not apply; terms in DMs or edited after posting are void; you cannot impose terms that are absurd, unlawful or predatory (where we consider a term unreasonable, our terms and judgment overrule yours); and you cannot refuse to refund a genuinely refundable payment.

7CWhen a trader goes unresponsive

  • If one side stops responding mid-deal, the automatic timers in §19 apply. Funds already deposited are not forfeited by going quiet, except in a dispute (§18).
  • We are not responsible for a counterparty going unresponsive and do not guarantee any response time from them.
  • Where one side has delivered and the other has vanished, open a dispute (§18). Do not release, and do not chase them outside the ticket.
  • Deliberately stalling to waste a counterparty's time may result in a negative rating (§22) and a ban.
  • Where the Service itself is unavailable mid-deal, held funds stay held and the deal resumes when it returns. An outage does not release or forfeit anything.

8Orbs, Stars, shop, giveaways, the Weekly Giveaway and rewards

Orbs are a reward point. Orbs have no cash value, are not redeemable for money or crypto, and cannot be withdrawn. They are earned and spent in the shop and on giveaway entries. Orbs, ranks, badges and reward points may be adjusted, expired or removed at any time. They confer no ownership and no legal claim against us.

Stars are a separate reward balance and work the same way: no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and may be adjusted or removed. If you choose to take a payout in Stars where that is offered, the choice is final.

Stars expire 30 days after they are credited. Each credit (a payout taken in Stars, a prize or any other) expires 30 days after it reaches your balance. Stars keep their age when they move: a refund, a gift, a tip or a Stars deal paid out carries the date of the Stars it came from, so it does not start a new 30 days. When you spend Stars, the oldest are used first, so what expires is only what you have not spent within 30 days of receiving it. Stars already in your balance when this rule began expire 30 days after it began. /balance shows how many Stars expire next and when. Expiry is checked every hour. Stars on an account banned from earning Orbs keep ageing and expire the same way. Expired Stars are removed from your balance and are not refunded or replaced. Moving your stats to a new account keeps each credit's original date.

Shop. Items and roles are sold for Orbs. Stock is limited and prices change. Purchases are final and non-refundable unless the item cannot be delivered.

Giveaways. Entry may cost Orbs. Entry is not a purchase of a chance to win money and prizes are awarded at our discretion. Where local law regulates prize draws, the giveaway is void where prohibited. Entry caps apply. Members banned from earning Orbs are left out of every draw.

Weekly Giveaway

Every user who completes at least one qualifying escrow deal in a UTC week (Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59) is automatically entered into that week's draw. A deal qualifies if it would earn Orbs and passes our fake-deal checks. These do not qualify: deals under $3, deals where either party's Discord account is under 7 days old, a third deal with the same person within 24 hours, deals with yourself, and deals our checks flag as artificial. Members banned from earning Orbs are left out.

  • One entry per person per week, two if you have the server tag perks (§11) when your deal completes. Completing ten deals gives you the same entries as completing one. It is not a volume competition, and splitting one trade into several does not improve your odds.
  • Both sides of a qualifying deal are entered. Both of them did a deal.
  • Entry is automatic. There is nothing to claim, join or click.
  • The draw is made after the week ends, at random, from everyone entered.
  • The prize is set by us. When one is set, it is shown in deal tickets opened while it is set, and it is announced with the result. It may change from week to week, and a week can be drawn with no prize set.
  • A week with no qualifying deals has no winner.
  • Deals that are cancelled, refunded, reversed, or that we determine were created artificially to farm entries, do not count, and doing that is a breach of §23.
  • The draw is a goodwill promotion, not a purchased chance. There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary: completing a deal is a service you were using anyway. It is void where prohibited, and we may change, pause or end it at any time without notice.
  • Our determination of entries and of the winner is final.

Daily drops, invite rewards and badges are goodwill features. They can be changed or withdrawn without notice and are void if obtained by self-invites, alternate accounts, or any other manipulation.

9Tips

  • Tips are voluntary and chosen by you.
  • A tip added at payout is capped at 20% of the deal value.
  • Overpayments. If you send more than the deal amount (beyond a small tolerance), the extra is kept as a tip when the deal is released. Cancel before release to get it back.
  • Tips are non-refundable once the deal completes.
  • A tip is not a fee and buys no guarantee or preferential treatment in a dispute.

10Fees

Every fee that applies is shown before you confirm. The figures below are the standing schedule. They may change under §29, and the figure shown on your ticket at confirmation is the one that applies, unless it was shown in error (§26).

Network fee (escrow releases and refunds)

A flat charge covering the on-chain cost of sending your funds out, deducted from the amount released. This is not a margin. Moving coins costs money.

Asset / networkFee
USDT / USDC · BEP-20 (BNB Chain)$0.10
USDT / USDC · ERC-20 (Ethereum)$0.25
USDT / USDC · SPL (Solana)$0.05
USDT · TRC-20 (Tron)$1.00
BTC, LTC, ETH, SOL nativenetwork cost, taken from the deposit

Ethereum gas. Ethereum gas is volatile. We cover it for the flat fee above while it stays under our cap. Above that, a payout waits until gas falls, or the receiver can choose to pay the current gas from the payout instead. A refund that cannot pay its own gas waits, or asks you to send ETH to the deposit address.

Swap fee

Our swap fee, if any, is shown on the swap panel and again on the review card before you confirm. The provider's spread and the destination-chain network fee come on top.

Dispute fee (§18)

Flat$1.00
plus percentage of deal value1%
never more than$5.00
and never more than25% of the deal

Charged to whoever is paid at the end of a disputed deal, on a release or a refund. In a dispute, or where these terms are breached, staff may also deduct a fee as part of the decision.

Unclaimed funds fee

If you do not give a payout or refund address within 24 hours of our request, a one-time fee of 0.5% of the deal applies, at least $0.50, never more than $5.00 or half the deal.

Wrong-asset recovery fee (§16)

$1.00 plus 1% of the recovered value.

What we do not charge

No percentage commission on a standard escrow deal, no account fee, no deposit fee, no minimum monthly charge.

11Server tag holder benefits

Users displaying our server tag, and users who have tipped a qualifying amount, may receive benefits.

Benefits may include network fee waivers on some coins, automatic release to a saved address, and daily tag points. Whether a benefit applies is checked when it is used, and if we cannot check it, the normal fee is charged.

Benefits are discretionary and may be changed, capped or withdrawn at any time. They are not a contractual entitlement and removing them is not a breach of these terms.

12Deposits, confirmations and settlement

A deposit is not credited the moment it appears. We wait until we consider it safely confirmed on its network, which protects both sides against reversals. How long that takes depends on the chain.

  • A short hold applies before funds are released or refunded (§19). Larger deals can wait longer. This is deliberate.
  • An additional payment to an address that already has one can restart the settlement window.
  • If a deposit is seen and then disappears from the chain, we refuse to credit it.
  • Underpayments are held as partial and require both parties to accept, top up, or cancel.
  • Only confirmed funds are settled. An unconfirmed mempool transaction is not money and will not be credited.

13Minimum deposit

Under $1 is not returned

The minimum deposit is USD 1.00. If a deposit arrives worth less than $1.00 you have a 20-minute grace period to top it up. If it is still under $1.00 after 20 minutes, the deal is cancelled automatically and the funds are not returned. They are retained by us.

The reason is arithmetic, not greed. The on-chain cost of sending sub-dollar dust back is frequently more than the dust is worth, so a refund would consume the whole amount and fail on top. Do not send test amounts. If you want to check an address, check it with the full amount or not at all.

14Leftover funds and sweeping

After a deal completes, small balances can remain on a deposit address: gas funded but not spent, rounding remainders, the difference between an estimated and actual network fee, and dust below the minimum in §13. These leftovers are swept to our treasury and retained by us.

  • Sweeping happens after the deal has been paid out in full. It never takes from the amount owed to you.
  • If a material balance is left on an address by mistake, contact support and we may return it. Sweeping is housekeeping for dust, not a way of keeping your money.

15Situations where funds cannot be recovered

In each of these situations we cannot recover the funds, or are not obliged to, and the loss is not our responsibility. Any help we give is at our discretion and does not change that.

  • Wrong coin, wrong network or wrong address on a swap. A swap deposit address belongs to the provider, not to us. Anything sent to it in the wrong coin, on the wrong network, below the minimum or after the deadline cannot be recovered by us; any refund is entirely up to the provider (§6). Check the coin and the network before every swap deposit.
  • Wrong address. Crypto sent to the wrong address is gone; transactions are final. This covers a mistyped payout address, one pasted from the wrong deal, and one altered by clipboard-hijacking malware on your machine. Verify the whole address, not the first and last four characters, because that shortcut is exactly what address-poisoning attacks defeat.
  • Wrong asset or wrong network to an escrow address. Each address expects one asset on one network. We may help with some common mistakes (§16). Anything we do not detect, or cannot or do not recover, is not our responsibility.
  • Old, closed or someone else's deposit address. Each deposit address belongs to one deal. Money sent after its ticket has closed or expired, or to an address from another deal, is not watched and may never be recovered.
  • Wrong amount. Send the exact amount from a wallet that deducts no fees. An exchange that takes its fee from what you send leaves the deal underpaid (§12), and an overpayment is kept as a tip on release (§9).
  • Below the minimum deposit. See §13. Under $1 is not returned.
  • Scams and impersonation. If you are deceived into confirming a release, sending funds outside the Service, or dealing with someone impersonating staff, a fake bot, a cloned server, a phishing link or a fake website, that loss is not recoverable. We cannot catch every fake. A confirmed release is executed. See §21.
  • Deals outside the ticket. Anything you send or agree outside your ticket, including in DMs or another server, is at your own risk.
  • Chains and tokens we do not support. Our recovery scans cover the networks and assets we support. An obscure token or unsupported chain may be invisible to us.
  • Loss of your own Discord account. If your Discord account is compromised, whoever controls it can act as you. Anything done from your account counts as done by you. Protect it with a strong unique password and 2FA. This is the single most common way users lose funds here.

16Wrong-asset recovery and its fee

Where you send the wrong asset to an escrow address (not a swap address), we may be able to help. We may detect some common mistakes automatically.

If detected, you may be offered a recovery for a fee of $1.00 plus 1% of the recovered value. Where the bot can send the coin back, both of you confirm and it is returned less the fee. Otherwise staff may return it by hand, and you may need to pay the fee separately and cover gas yourself. Recovery is at our discretion and not guaranteed. If we cannot or do not recover it, the loss is not our responsibility. Nothing here obliges us to recover an asset we never agreed to accept.

17Refunds and cancellation

  • Before the deposit address is shown, either party may cancel. After that, cancelling needs both parties.
  • After a deposit but before release, a refund requires both parties to agree, or a dispute outcome under §18.
  • Refunds go to a refund address you supply and confirm. Network and applicable fees are deducted. The address you confirm is the one used.
  • A refund may be held for a short review period before sending, and may require your PIN and a second confirmation.
  • Once a release completes it is final. We cannot claw back funds from the receiver.
  • Swap deposits cannot be cancelled by us at all. Only the provider can refund a swap, under its own rules, to the refund address recorded with the quote.
  • Partial payments require both parties to accept the lower amount, top up, or cancel.

18Disputes

If a deal goes wrong, open a dispute in the ticket before doing anything else. Staff review the transcript, the on-chain record, and any evidence provided.

  • A dispute fee applies (§10).
  • Our decision on how to release or return held funds is final and binding as between you and us. We make it on the available evidence, in good faith.
  • We are not an arbitration service, and our decision does not affect legal rights you may have directly against your counterparty.
  • Fabricated evidence, edited screenshots or dishonest claims result in a permanent ban and a decision against you.
  • If one side sends no evidence within 24 hours of a dispute being opened, staff may decide in favour of the other side.
  • Filing a chargeback or payment reversal elsewhere while a dispute is open ends it immediately and against you.

19Holds, timers and automatic closure

We apply automatic delays and closures. They are protections, not obstructions. Depending on the situation we may:

  • hold a release while a deposit settles, or where the deal is large or the account or pattern looks suspicious;
  • place a hold on release, plus a warning, when activity around a deal suggests impersonation;
  • hold a refund for a short review and ask you to confirm it again;
  • automatically close a deal ticket that receives no deposit in time, and a swap or support ticket that sits with no activity (never send funds to a closed ticket, §15); and
  • keep a ticket open, and never auto-close it, while funds are present at its deposit address.

We may hold any release for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, a compromised account, or unlawful activity. We monitor for artificially generated or farmed deals. Where detected, statistics and rewards derived from them may be withheld or reversed.

20Account security: PIN and saved addresses

  • If you have set a PIN, it is asked before sensitive actions such as releasing or cancelling a deal.
  • You may save a payout address for reuse. You are responsible for keeping it correct. If your saved address is wrong, or you change wallets and do not update it, funds sent to it are gone (§15).
  • We will never ask you for your PIN in a direct message, and never ask for a seed phrase or private key under any circumstances.

21Impersonation and the anti-fake phrase

Impersonation is the most common way people are robbed in this space.

  • Staff never message you first. Anyone who DMs you claiming to be staff is a scammer, without exception.
  • You must set a private anti-fake phrase before opening a deal ticket. Every genuine DM and deal card from the bot has a Verify Astro button that shows your phrase to you alone. If it does not show your phrase, the message did not come from us.
  • Your phrase proves a message is from us. It is not a password and authorises nothing. We will never ask you to say, send or type it.
  • Never share it. Do not use anything guessable, and never reuse a password.
  • We are not responsible for losses from a fake bot, cloned server or impersonator, particularly where the anti-fake phrase was available and not checked.

22Reputation, profiles and public deal records

  • Completed deals may be posted publicly in our Discord server, including the amount, coin, transaction hash and Discord usernames of both parties. Using the Service means you consent to this.
  • Deal counts, totals and rankings appear on public leaderboards, including a biggest-deal record.
  • You accumulate a reputation score and rating history visible on your public profile.
  • Staff may apply a negative rating where you are reported for wasting time, abandoning a deal, or breaching these terms.
  • Ratings, flags and moderation notes are our assessment and are not defamatory statements of fact. We will correct a demonstrable factual error on request.
  • You can reduce your visibility. Commands control whether your name appears publicly, hide your client roles, and control whether the bot DMs you. This does not remove records already posted publicly, and does not stop a deal being recorded on the blockchain.
  • You can delete a saved payout address at any time. Deleting it does not affect a deal already in progress that used it.

23Prohibited use

You must not use the Service to, or in connection with: laundering money, financing terrorism, or moving proceeds of crime; evading sanctions or transacting from a comprehensively sanctioned country; trading stolen accounts, items, funds, or anything obtained by fraud; selling weapons, drugs, sexual content, personal data, malware, counterfeit goods, or anything unlawful; defrauding, scamming, extorting or blackmailing another user; dealing on behalf of an undisclosed third party, or opening tickets for someone else; operating multiple accounts to evade a ban, limit or reputation record or to farm rewards; generating artificial deals to inflate statistics; abusing, threatening or harassing users or staff; automating, scraping, reverse engineering, overloading or probing the Service without written permission (good-faith security research welcome, contact us first); or exploiting a bug for gain. Report it, do not use it. Doing so is theft and we will treat it as theft.

24Suspension and termination

We may limit, suspend or permanently ban any user at any time, with or without notice, where we reasonably suspect a breach of these terms, fraud, or risk to other users. Where funds of yours are held at that moment, we will return them less applicable fees, unless doing so is unlawful or we reasonably believe they are the proceeds of crime, in which case we may hold them and report as legally required. You may stop using the Service at any time. Complete or cancel any open deal first.

25Availability

The Service is provided on a best-efforts basis with no uptime guarantee. It depends on Discord, blockchain networks, node and explorer providers, price feeds, a third-party swap provider and energy-rental services, none of which we control. It may be unavailable for maintenance, outage, or no reason at all. Delays or failures caused by any of them are not our fault and are not compensable.

26Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We specifically do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free; that any counterparty is honest, solvent, or entitled to what they trade; that any rate, quote, item value or valuation shown is accurate at execution; or that any item, account or asset you receive is genuine or free of prior claim.

Mistakes. If we send you more than you are owed, or send a payment twice, by mistake, you must return it, and we may deduct it from anything we hold for you. Keeping it is a breach of these terms (§23). An amount, price or quote shown in error does not bind either side: we may correct the deal from the chain or a correct price, including repricing or cancelling it.

Third parties. If a token issuer, blockchain network, swap provider, node or explorer provider, price feed or Discord fails, makes an error, freezes, delays, splits or reverses funds, holds them for checks, is hacked or acts dishonestly, we are not liable for the result, including for funds we hold for you. Your deal waits until it can finish, and any claim is against that third party.

27Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, nor for lost profits, opportunity, data, or goodwill. We are not liable for losses arising from anything in §15, from your own error, from a compromise of your device or Discord account, from the acts of your counterparty, or from the acts, omissions or insolvency of a third-party provider. Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us on the specific transaction giving rise to the claim, and USD 100.

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Consumer-protection law where you live may give you rights these terms cannot remove. Where it does, those rights prevail.

28Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, loss, liability or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

29Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always published at ascensionastro.com/terms with an updated date. Material changes will be announced in our Discord server. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it. The version in force when you confirm a deal governs that deal.

30Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence. Before starting any formal proceeding, open a support ticket in our Discord server and give us 30 days to resolve it.

Your anti-fake phrase is stored recoverably. It cannot be hashed, because the bot has to show it back to you, the same trade-off a bank makes with a security image. It is not a password, it protects nothing but message authenticity, and you must never reuse a password as your phrase.

32What we never collect

  • No legal name, date of birth, or identity documents. We do not run KYC.
  • No email address or phone number.
  • No card numbers or bank details. We never touch fiat rails.
  • No private keys or seed phrases of yours. We never ask, and neither does any legitimate service. Anyone who does is stealing from you.
  • No advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not sell data.

33Why we hold it

  • To perform the contract, the only way to run the deal you asked for.
  • To resolve disputes, where transcripts and on-chain records are the evidence.
  • Legitimate interest in preventing fraud and protecting users.
  • Legal obligation where we are required to retain or disclose something.

36Public records: Discord and blockchain

This cannot be undone

Every blockchain transaction is recorded on a public ledger, permanently, by design. Addresses, amounts and timings are visible to anyone in the world, forever. We cannot delete, edit or redact a blockchain transaction. Nobody can.

Anyone who links an address to your identity can trace its history. If that matters to you, use fresh addresses, and understand that a deletion request cannot reach the chain. Completed deals posted in our Discord server are visible to every member and may be screenshotted or archived by third parties beyond our control.

37Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of them, open a support ticket in our Discord server from the account concerned. We will respond within 30 days. Two honest limits: we cannot delete anything from a blockchain, and we may retain what we need for an open dispute, a fraud investigation, a ban record, our records of deals that moved funds, or a legal obligation, and we will tell you which applies. If you are in the UK or EEA you may complain to your data protection authority. Controller details: Astro MM, contactable through a support ticket in our Discord server. No DPO is appointed.

38Security

We hold private keys for escrow deposit addresses and treat that as the most serious thing we do. Access to funds is restricted, sensitive actions require additional verification.

Your PIN is stored salted and hashed, so we cannot read it. Never reuse a PIN from somewhere else.

No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee our infrastructure will never be breached.

Protect your own Discord account with a strong unique password and two-factor authentication. A compromised Discord account is by far the most common way users lose funds here, and it is the one thing we cannot defend for you.

39Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will delete what we can.

Part III · Compliance

40Anti-money-laundering and sanctions

We do not currently perform identity verification. That is not an invitation.

We monitor for suspicious patterns and we will freeze funds, refuse service, and report to the relevant authority where we reasonably suspect money laundering, sanctions evasion, or the proceeds of crime. We may at any time introduce identity checks, transaction limits, or source-of-funds questions, and may condition a release or a withdrawal on you answering them.

These terms and the Privacy Policy together form the entire agreement between you and Astro MM regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these terms; we may assign ours to a successor.
